I put myself in a situation where there is no choice but to grow.”
It was such an inspiration hearing these words in my interview today.
Am doing a series of interviews as part of my research for my book.
One standard question was what they see as their strengths to grow. In spite of it being a so called boring corporate interview question ( I can assure the rest of my questions are not) , I have received a variety of answers.
Made many introspect, think and answer, but this one tops.

We talk about coming out of the comfort zone. We talk about taking risks. We talk about one step at a time. But that is little steps compared to this giant one.
Her words “I thrive best when I put myself away from comfort zone and I realised it as I grew older” is amazing.
She is well placed person, and has been her habit right from her collage days.
Was a huge lesson to me too.
As we navigate we win or we learn, but for sure we navigate. No sitting stagnant.
But what about when we sit stagnant and not realise it?
Till that realization kicks in or is pointed out to us or we face a consequence, it just remains a straight line.
So for me, growing, stopping procrastination, learning, trying all starts first from the thought to wanting to. Once that takes seed, you nurture the thought, so it increases in scope to nag you enough if you don’t take steps.]
It all starts with the thought and that stems from a little introspection.
My interview definitely does that if not anything else.
What next after the trigger ? That is for the next blog
Also it would be great if any of you want to be interviewed. It is about your growth. Just drop in a comment or message me.
No strings attached. Pure research for my book and insightful to you about yourself.
